Privacy Policy — 4Rent app

The 4Rent app lets customers of the car rental company follow their contracts and send requests. This page explains what data the app uses and why.

Data we use

• Phone number and the last 4 digits of your civil ID: to verify your identity at sign-in. The sign-in code is sent to you on WhatsApp.
• Your contract data: such as the car, dates, amounts, receipts, and hand-over and return photos. This data comes from the company's records; the app only shows it to you.
• Your requests and messages: such as extension, maintenance, assistance and rental requests, and in-app notifications.
• Usage logs: such as sign-in time and request type, to improve the service and prevent abuse.

What we don't do

• We don't access your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
• We don't show ads or track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.

Who we share data with

Only the company staff who handle your request. When you pay, payment data goes to the payment gateway of your contract's branch to complete the payment. Data is stored on the company's servers and protected with encrypted connections.

Deleting your account

Delete your account anytime from Account → Delete account. Your app account, requests and notifications are deleted immediately. Rental contracts and receipts stay in the company's records as the law requires; the app doesn't delete them.

If the app is no longer on your device, request deletion from your registered phone number: Phone: 96522218140 · WhatsApp: 96522218140 · Email: help@4rent.com.kw. We delete the account within 7 days and confirm with you.
